Assuming the motion is approved Monday evening by council, the city will again offer free New Year’s Eve transit service.
In addition, there will be free overnight on-street parking to help deter drinking and driving.
The bus service will be offered from 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 31 until 3:15 on New Year’s Day. The free rides consist of a demand-responsive transit service that will pick up from a requested bus stop and drop off at another stop on the bus system.
