The Community Recycling Centre at 330 South Edgeware Road returns to regular part-time hours today (Dec. 28).
You can dispose of your natural Christmas tree for no charge at the centre. All decorations, lights and plastic bags must be removed.
As an alternative, these trees may be cut into pieces and placed in the green composting cart with the lid closed for collection.
Trees placed curbside will not be collected.
Part-time Hours of Operation: (effective until March 13, 2023)
Wednesdays – 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hazardous waste accepted on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
