London Police advise the rail crossings in the downtown area impacted by the incident are now open to traffic.

If you are travelling to Downtown London today, or by rail, you can expect significant delays this morning.
The London Fire Department has responded to “serious incident” involving a train and pedestrian near the intersection of York St. and Maitland St.
The Fire Department says that multiple rail crossings are blocked. VIA Rail has posted “significant delays” on its website for routes expected to arrive/depart this morning. If you have a train leaving this morning, its best to check the status on the VIA Rail website.
