Following a speedy trip along Putnam Road in Malahide, a 29-year-old Aylmer resident had plenty of time to cool their heels. The motorist was stopped by Elgin OPP Monday morning after being clocked at almost 40 km/h over the limit. Further investigation revealed the individual had a suspended driver’s licence and outstanding arrest warrants in two other jurisdictions. The driver was taken into custody and then transferred to another police service.
