The Elgin Imperials Para Hockey Team won gold at the London Blizzard Invitational over the weekend. The Imperials put on a dominating performance all weekend, going undefeated. The Imperials Sledge hockey team defeated Buffalo 5-1 in the semi-finals to set up a championship match against the Woolwich Thrashers. Kevin Shaw, Ryan Whittle and Travis Topping each had a goal as the Imperials went on to win the gold medal game 3-1.
