In a bid to refresh its Strategic Plan, the city is initiating Phase 1 of the community engagement process.
The original plan was adopted by city council in 2013 and went through a refreshing process in 2020. The updated plan, Full Steam Ahead, will cover 2024 through 2027.
This first phase of public engagement is intended to garner feedback about the current strategic plan successes and gather input on where the city and council should focus future resources and priorities.
Information gathered will be presented to council at a future date.
An online public input survey is now open and hard copies of the survey can be found at city hall in the mayor’s office (3rd floor), the customer service/clerk’s office (main entrance off Talbot Street), or at the St. Thomas Public Library front desk.
Completed surveys can be returned to any of these locations.
The survey is open until April 21.
