With an extended period of rainy weather, the Kettle Creek Conservation Authority is urging caution around local waterways.
The authority has re-issued a flood outlook as water levels remain elevated throughout the watershed.
With another 30 to 50 mm of rain expected through Wednesday, residents are reminded to stay away from watercourses, keep storm drains clear, and remove property from low-lying areas.
Jennifer Dow, Water Resources Supervisor for the authority advises there remains a chance for localized flooding depending on the amount of rain that falls.
The flood outlook is in effect until 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
