It’s going to be busy and fun filled day at Springwater Conservation Area this Saturday.
As myFM shared earlier this week, the Annual Trout Fishing Derby kicks off bright and early, but another important event is set to take over the trails!
The Catfish Creek Conservation Authority has planned a Springwater trail clean-up to coincide with Earth Day on April 22nd.
Brittany Bell, the Program Support Assistant with the Catfish Creek Conservation Authority notes the cleaning kicks off at 9 a.m.
It’s all part of their effort to keep the Springwater forest a clean and beautiful place to visit adds Bell.
And after the clean-up, participants can head over to the Beach Side Concession Booth where Bell says a pancake breakfast will be offered.
Those interested in taking part in the Earth Day Clean-Up can contact Brittany at communications@catfishcreek.ca to register!
