For the first time in the campaign’s history, Smile Cookies return to Tim Horton restaurants next week.
From May 1st to 7th, 100 per cent of the proceeds from each cookie sale will be donated to local charities who are handpicked by Tim Hortons restaurant owners.
In St. Thomas, all money raised will benefit the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation and support patient care through the purchase of life saving equipment.
The 2 Aylmer locations will be raising money to support Eat 2 Learn and their local breakfast and snack programs.
Charlotte McDonald, Community Liaison with Eat 2 Learn Elgin notes how honored they are to be chosen once again.
McDonald adds that campaigns such as these allow Eat 2 Learn to keep supporting the students in our community who need it most.
Tim Hortons restaurant owners across North America have now raised over $92 million through the sale of Smile Cookies, including a record-breaking $15 million raised last year alone.
To participate in this year’s Smile Cookie campaign, visit your local Tim Hortons restaurant or place an order through the Tim Hortons mobile app for delivery.
You can also support our local organizations by purchasing one of four Smile Cookie personality pins at participating restaurants for $2 plus tax.
