St. Thomas Police have charged a 32 year old with identity fraud following an incident in the city Sunday.
Officers were called to the downtown core where they located a person in need of medical treatment.
While coordinating care with EMS, police learned that the individual had been using someone else’s identification and was wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft under $5000 and one count personation with intent.
The 32 year old of no fixed address was placed under arrest, processed and released on an undertaking after being sent to hospital for medical treatment.
