Even better when all of the proceeds support a local worthwhile charity.
Another Ed Yurek Memorial Charity Euchre Tournament will be held May 26 at the Seniors Centre with all money raised earmarked for Violence Against Women, Services Elgin County.

Those who attended the last Ed Yurek Memorial Charity Euchre Tournament in November had one request for organizers.
Hold the tournament more than once a year.

The winner of last November’s tournament was Brenda Nicol of St. Thomas. Word has it she will return to defend her title May 26. when the next tournament is held at the St. Thomas Seniors Centre
But, the real winner is Violence Against Women, Services Elgin County notes Yurek.
He adds, there’s a cash bar, lots of prizes and a great night of socializing.
Tickets are $25 person and can be purchased at Yurek Pharmacy at 519 Talbot Street in St. Thomas, or at the St. Thomas Seniors’ Centre, 225 Chestnut Street.
