Thanks to the quick actions of the St. Thomas Police, a possible overdose at a residence on the city’s south side Friday, ended very differently than it could have.
Upon arrival to the residence, officers learned that 3 doses of Narcan had already been administered to the individual, however they remained unresponsive.
Three additional doses of Narcan were administered by the responding officers, which resulted in the person regaining consciousness and vital signs returned.
The 30 year old St. Thomas resident was transported to hospital for further care.
