Road Safety Week geared down last week after police services across the province focused on behaviours that put road users at risk.
These include impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and not wearing a seatbelt.
In St. Thomas, police laid 29 charges:
2 red light offences
1 stunt driving
1 no insurance
1 unsafe move
1 seatbelt
15 speeding offences
2 impaired drivers
3 careless driving
1 stop sign offence
1 novice driver offence
1 driving with liquor readily available
The St. Thomas Police Service Traffic Management Unit will continue to focus on road safety initiatives
