Aylmer Police have charged a 52 year old woman with sexual assault following an incident at Balmoral Park on Thursday.
Police say they were contacted by an adult female who reported that while in the park, she was approached by another woman who began making forward comments to her about her appearance.
The woman continued with her advances before being joined by a male friend who also engaged in making the uncomfortable comments.
As the victim attempted to walk away, it’s alleged that she was then inappropriately touched by the female.
The 52 year old from Waterloo Region has been arrested and charged as a result.
