A 33 year old Aylmer man is facing several charges following an incident in the Town last Wednesday.
The man, who was bound following a previous arrest to not contact the Aylmer Police dispatch centre unless for an emergency, called the communications centre and began swearing at the dispatchers in contravention of his conditions.
When police went to place the man under arrest, he attempted to kick one of the officers, resulting in a call back to Paramedics. While assessing the male, it is alleged he then threated one of them.
As a result, the 33 year old has been charged with failing to comply with a release order, assault police and utter threats to cause bodily harm.
The man was left in the care of the hospital and released from police custody on an undertaking with additional conditions.
