A two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon in West Elgin has resulted in numerous charges against a 36-year-old Muncey man.
Around 5:15 Elgin OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision at McLean Line and Furnival Road.
One driver had fled the scene on foot and police determined the vehicle was stolen. He was located nearby and taken into custody.
No serious injuries were reported.
Garry Snake faces a variety of charges:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while Prohibited under the Criminal Code (Two Counts)
- Failure to stop after accident
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Possession property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession break in instruments
