It’s an event where dogs are welcome and people are tolerated.
Coming up Saturday, July 22nd is the Pawsitively Elgin Dog Festival at Springwater Conservation Area, all in support of Helping Paws Rescue and All Breed Canine Rescue.
Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees can take part in demos, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, take your “Smooch a Pooch” picture in the photo booth, peruse through the over 100 exhibitors and vendors planned, plus so much more.
Plenty of food options will be available for both pups and people, with admission to the festival being $12 per car load or $4 for walk-ins.
The Pawsitively Elgin Dog Festival is a 100% volunteer-driven organization created to bring awareness to dog adoption and animal rescues, not just in Elgin County, but across Ontario and Canada.
