Misusing the 9-1-1 emergency call line can have serious consequences. Especially if a nuisance call ties up valuable resources in a non-emergency situation.
A 57-year-old St. Thomas woman found that out Wednesday when St. Thomas Police officers on community patrol dealt with her on an outstanding warrant.
She was arrested for public mischief relating to numerous 9-1-1 calls that were not warranted. She was released on an undertaking.
