The World Meteorological Organization has officially declared July 2023 as the hottest month ever recorded in history.
According to scientists from the U-N agency, it might even be the warmest month humanity has ever experienced.
The European Union climate change service has reported that the first three weeks of July saw a new global heat record, with numerous regions in Southern Europe battling extreme heat and wildfires.
Interestingly, while Southern Europe faced scorching temperatures, parts of Central Europe experienced unusual winter conditions.
