A follow up to our story from last Tuesday as Aylmer Police have released more details in relation to the collision in the area of John Street North and Spruce Street on July 24th.
Aylmer Police says an investigation has determined that the suspect vehicle had pulled into the Tim Horton’s parking lot, where it struck a parked car, reversed and then accelerated into another parked car, before continuing on and striking a house.
Due to their level of intoxication, the driver was arrested at the scene and transported to hospital for treatment.
As a result, the 28 year-old male driver from Aylmer has been charged with impaired operation and refuse to provide breath sample.
