Ice cream lovers across Canada have been eagerly awaiting this moment – it’s DQ Miracle Treat Day tomorrow (Thursday).
The funds raised through Miracle Treat Day make a tangible difference in the lives of children locally, providing much needed funding for specialized care, and equipment.
Local Children’s Miracle Network Ambassador Natalie Ouellette was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was 18 months old.
The St. Thomas youngster underwent surgery that is not very common in Canada called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) that helps her walk without assistance.
Natalie tells us where the proceeds from DQ Miracle Treat Day will be directed.
Jennifer Baxter, the Director of Community Relations and Children’s Miracle Network for the Children’s Health Foundation says that the funds raised through Miracle Treat Day make a tangible difference in the lives of children locally,
She adds the funds raised contribute to purchasing specialized equipment,
