Following a successful event and fundraiser during Colours on the Beach in Port Stanley last month, this celebration of culture returns to the area Saturday.
The Indian Culture of London Ontario and the South-Asian Association London & Surrounding, will be hosting Colours in the City at Pinafore Park, which celebrates all cultures coming together, partnered with music, food, and dancing.
Participants are also encouraged to purchase coloured powder to throw at each other, representing the Indian spring festival of Holi.
All of the proceeds from the sales will then be donated to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation’s MRI-Diagnostic Imaging Campaign.
