Premier Doug Ford on Monday announced changes to his Cabinet to deliver on the government’s promise to build Ontario.
In the shuffle, Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP Rob Flack becomes Associate Minister of Housing with a specific mandate on attainable housing and modular homes reporting to Paul Calandra, the new Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Calandra replaces Steve Clark who on Sunday announced his resignation from that post.
The embattled Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP has been at the heart of the Greenbelt development scandal, in which it was found he had violated ethics outlines included in the Members’ Integrity Act.
Ford stressed, “As we continue to attract billions of dollars in new investments to create better jobs with bigger paycheques, we have the right team in place to get it done.
“We’ll never stop working on behalf of the people of Ontario to build the homes, highways and public transit our growing communities need.”
