A slew of charges have been laid against two individuals following a traffic stop in the city Tuesday.
St. Thomas Police were called to the area of Wellington and Ross Streets around 3:30 p.m., where a suspicious U-Haul that was missing a large portion of its windshield was reported.
Officers located the U-Haul and its occupants a short distance away, resulting in almost two dozen drug and traffic related charges between a 39-year-old and 40-year-old, both of no fixed address.

A 39-year-old , of no fixed address has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 6
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
- Obtaining by False Pretense
- Obstruct Peace Officer
A 40-year-old, of no fixed address has been charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (Opioid)
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (Cocaine)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 3
- Obstruct Peace Officer
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order x 2
- Driving while under Suspension
- Drive motor vehicle – no license
- Operate unsafe vehicle
Both parties were arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for court.
