The Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show is taking place just down the road and a couple of St. Thomas residents are coming home winners.
John Butler of St. Thomas, who has entered the fair for over fifteen years has been named the winner of the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show’s giant pumpkin competition, weighing in at an amazing 1,595 lbs.
Ron and Doris Wray were also a big winner this year with the largest pumpkin grown in and by residents of Norfolk County, weighing in at 821 pounds.
And St. Thomas resident Joel Jarvis took first place for the largest squash weighing in at 1,281 lbs.
