A 38-year-old St. Thomas resident wanted for mischief has been arrested following a short foot pursuit.
Police say the incident began around 4:30 Tuesday morning when they were identified as the person responsible for ripping the security key fob readers from the wall of police headquarters.
Officers were able to locate the 38-year-old later that day, where they provided a false name to police before fleeing on foot.
As a result the St. Thomas resident was additionally charged with one count Obstruct police and was released on an undertaking.
