The St. Thomas Downtown Development Board is back another local event this weekend, this time transforming Talbot Street into a realistic German Oktoberfest.
Join the fun this Saturday from 1 to 8 p.m., and celebrate the opening of our newly revitalized Downtown with a number of unique activities planned.
You’ll be able to hear live music from The Swingmaster and German DJ, take in the Saxonia Dancers and Elvis Impersonation and of course stop by the Beer Garden.
This is a family friendly Oktoberfest, so free train rides and pumpkin painting has been planned, with an artisan and crafters alley running from 1 to 5 p.m.
Those interested in riding the train are encouraged to pick up tickets in advance beginning at noon from the L&PS Station, with trips running hourly from 1 to 6 p.m.
