Whether you are just getting started, are seasoned and looking to expand, or just in need of a fresh perspective, the Elgin St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre wants to be the first stop you take in the direction of your dreams.
In celebration of Small Business Week October 16th to 22nd, SBEC has once again teamed up with myFM to highlight local entrepreneurs who are making waves in the community.
Elle Crevits, Senior Business Advisor explains why they were so pleased to partner for another year.
As we prepare to showcase 5 local businesses, Crevits explains the premise behind Small Business Week.
The Small Business Enterprise Centre continues to be the biggest cheerleader of local entrepreneurs, but as Crevits notes, they’re also there to provide supports for any stage of the business journey.
In addition to all the programs they offer, SBEC also helps entrepreneurs deal with misconceptions in the business world. As Crevits notes, many residents may not know just how vital small businesses are not only to our local economy, but nationally.
She adds that when you choose to support local, you may be getting back more than you think.
Stay tuned next week as we highlight one business each day in celebration of Small Business Week.
