Last Thursday, St. Thomas Police hosted a Four Counties Traffic Initiative with counterparts from Aylmer, Woodstock, London and and Strathroy-Caradoc police services.
The goal was to address road safety with a focus on commercial vehicles.
A total of 39 traffic-related charges were laid and four warnings issued in relation to dangerous goods.
Samantha Wakefield, Corporate Communications Coordinator with the St. Thomas Police Service explains the benefit of this collaboration.
The STPS thank the neighbouring police services for helping keep the roads in the city safe.
