Community partnership was the key to a successful Thanksgiving luncheon hosted by local electric utility Entegrus earlier this month.
Staff at Entegrus, with the assistance of myFM team members, served up a delicious lunch prepared by Kathy’s Catering to individuals benefiting from food programs provided by Destination Church.
Jim Hogan, President and CEO of Entegrus, expressed his enthusiasm toward the event. “At Entegrus, we believe in the importance of giving back to the communities we serve,” he stated. “Our team was thrilled to join in with members of the community at Destination Church, and partners at myFM & Kathy’s Catering to provide a top-notch Thanksgiving meal for individuals who could use a helping hand.”
Jim Clark of Destination Church echoed these sentiments, remarking, “We are incredibly grateful to Entegrus for their unwavering support and commitment to our community, and to the support of Kathy’s Catering and myFM for their assistance in making this happen. This Thanksgiving luncheon was a heartwarming experience for all, and it exemplifies the unity we aim to foster at Destination Church.”
Dave Thomson, Senior Account Executive at myFM, shared his thoughts on the event, saying, “We take immense pride in being part of this inaugural event. It serves as a wonderful illustration of how a community can unite with a shared vision to create a positive impact within our local area.”
The event saw attendees of all ages come together, strengthening existing bonds within the St. Thomas community. Hogan added, “I hope to see this tradition continue for years to come.”
