The trial of the man accused of killing four members of a Muslim family with his truck will resume today.
Nathaniel Veltman is accused of deliberately hitting the Afzaal family in London, Ontario while they were out for a walk in June 2021.
Last week, Veltman told the jury he felt an “urge” to hit the family with his truck after seeing them walking on a sidewalk.
The 22-year-old has pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
More details on the June 6th attack can be found in our previous stories.
