Elgin OPP have charged a 58-year-old Central Elgin resident following a sexual assault investigation.
It began September 12, 2023 when police received a report of sexual assaults that occurred between 1979 and 2010, involving multiple victims at locations within the Municipality of Central Elgin and City of St. Thomas.
As a result, the 58-year-old resident of the Municipality of Central Elgin has been charged with seven counts of Sexual Assault and five counts Sexual Interference
No further information, including the name of the accused, will be released due to a court-ordered publication ban.
