Outdoor rinks and snow-covered slopes may be harder to come by in Ontario as The Weather Network is predicting a late start to winter weather.
This in spite of snow squalls to the east and north of us on Tuesday.
The network says Ontario residents are slated to see warmer temperatures and less snow than normal before things could take a turn for the colder.
El NiƱo conditions are predicted to lead to above-average temperatures and lower-than-normal precipitation across much of the country, but particularly in Central and Western Canada.
No bets as of now on a white Christmas.
