A 32-year-old Aylmer man arrested for assault Sunday night has been additionally charged after threatening to kill an officer.
Aylmer Police were called to a south-end residence just after 6, for the report of a domestic assault. An investigation did lead to the arrest of the male, who was subsequently charged with 4 counts of assault.
During the course of the arrest and booking, the accused told an officer he was going to kill him, resulting in an uttering threats to cause death charge.
The 32-year-old was held in custody for a bail hearing and later released by the courts on an undertaking with conditions.
