A 30-year-old St. Thomas resident has been charged after a driver was assaulted late Saturday.
Police say they were contacted by a local transportation company just before midnight, regarding a driver that had been assaulted in the north end of the city.
Investigation determined that the driver had been punched several times by the suspect before they fled.
The 30-year-old was located a short distance away, arrested and was released with a future court date.
