A 26-year-old St. Thomas resident is facing multiple charges after driving a vehicle into a house early Friday morning.
Police responded to the scene shortly after 2 a.m. and located the driver, who was showing visible signs of impairment.
Investigation determined they were impaired by alcohol, at which time the driver was transported to the police station for testing.
The 26-year-old was charged with Operation while Impaired, Operation while Impaired – 80 plus, Operate vehicle – No insurance, Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available and was held in custody until sober.
St. Thomas Police do note no injuries were reported as a result.
