An Aylmer youth is facing charges following an incident at a local school back on January 17th.
Police say while on school property, it’s alleged that the accused approached an individual and pointed an imitation firearm at their head.
As a result of an investigation, the youth was arrested on January 24th and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The youth was released on an undertaking with conditions and is set to appear in St. Thomas court next month to answer to the charges.
In compliance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the name of the school and other identifying information will not be released.
