Those looking to start beach season a little early are invited to join in on the annual Polar Bear Dip for Childcan taking place in Port Stanley March 2nd.
The annual fundraiser returns to the frigid water at Little Beach and adventure-seekers are encouraged to dive in for the cause.
Participants of the Polar Bear Dip are encouraged to collect pledges leading up to the day, before taking the leap of faith into Lake Erie around 11 a.m.
Proceeds from the event will support local families who are coping with their child’s cancer diagnosis as well as vital pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital in London.
A goal of $125,000 has been set for this year.
