A 35-year-old Springfield man was in custody after a break and enter incident at an Aylmer residence Sunday evening.
When Aylmer Police responded, they located the suspect in the residence he was bound by conditions not to attend.
He resisted arrest and tried to remove an officers’ gun from the holster.
He faces a number of charges including disarming a peace officer, two counts of failing to comply with a release order, resist arrest and break and enter to a dwelling.
The man was held in custody overnight and was to appear in court Monday morning.
