The Stars, who finished 6th in the GOJHL season with 41 points in 50 games will face the third-place Strathroy Rockets in the best-of-seven opening round of the playoffs.
The Rockets were in a dog fight with London, St. Marys and Chatham for much of the season and finished just four points back of the front-running Nationals.
St. Thomas will be relying on their leading scorer Briir Long to continue to find the net against the Rockets. He led the team in scoring with 34 goals and 30 assists in 48 games. The rookie had an impressive 13 power-play goals over the campaign.
Alexei Medvedev got the bulk of the work in net, logging a 4.00 GAA in 28 games.
