Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision just before noon Thursday in Bayham.
UPDATE AS OF NOON FRIDAY:
The motorist who sustained life-threatening injuries has since succumbed to those injuries. The two-year-old child was not seriously injured.

The driver of a vehicle on Heritage Line near Maple Grove Line lost control and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
The driver of the first vehicle, a 33-year-old Aylmer resident, sustained life-threatening injuries and a 2-year-old passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The lone occupant of the other vehicle, a 47-year-old from Vienna, was treated for minor injuries.
Elgin OPP are continuing with their investigation.
