Thanks to the support of the community, the volunteers, organizers and event sponsors, over $74,000 was raised through CMHA’s charity hockey game on April 20th in St. Thomas.
Held at the Joe Thornton Community Centre, the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni vs St. Thomas Police Service game saw an amazing turnout of 1,800 attendees and an impressive consumption of one metric tonne of fries.
In addition to ticket revenue, $1,715 was raised through the silent auction, and an additional $312 was donated back through hot dog combo sales.
The funds will support CMHA TV’s mental health and addiction services across St. Thomas and Elgin County, serving approximately 3,500 clients in the region each year.
CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services extends its deepest gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this event and is eager to share more details on how the funds will be utilized to further their mission.
