The very high water level in Lake Erie has resulted in the Catfish Creek Conservation Authority issuing a water safety conditions statement.
The level of the lake at the beginning of this month was 30 cm above the average over the past 100 years.
Risks include shoreline flooding, beach submersion, wave-driven erosion and septic system inundation.
Those living in impacted areas are advised to keep a close watch on weather and wind forecasts.
The statement is in effect until June 10, unless updated earlier.
