Today, May 14th, marks the Provincial Day of Action on Litter.
The City of St. Thomas has joined in by hosting a community clean up and hope to pave the way for a cleaner, greener community.
Residents are encouraged to take part and share their cleanup plans with staff in order to prepare the necessary supplies for the initiative.

If you can’t make it out today, city staff provided ways you can still contribute! Consider diverting waste by recycling or composting materials whenever possible, reducing the load on landfills. Use your blue and green bins effectively, and when cleaning up litter, ensure proper separation of recyclables.
