The Elgin Ontario Health Team will be offering two free Mental Health First Aid Training courses over the coming months, giving the community the chance to improve their mental health literacy.
The first session will be taking place on June 17th, with the second scheduled for September 9th.
The training will not only help participants better understand mental health challenges but will equip them with tools to assist individuals navigating mental health crises or experiencing a decline in their well-being
Those who register for the free Mental Health First Aid Training will need to complete a 2-hour preparatory module, followed by an 8-hour virtual in-class session.
