Those still trying to plan something fun to do with the family to celebrate Father’s Day this weekend can take advantage of free fishing across the province.
On June 15th and 16th, Ontarians can enjoy fishing provincewide without having to purchase a licence or carry an Outdoors Card.
During this free fishing period however, it is essential to carry valid identification issued by the provincial or federal government and should include both your name and date of birth.
Catch limits, size limits, sanctuaries and other regulations still apply.
