The St. Thomas Police Service has issued a warrant for arrest after 2 males were observed stealing items from vehicles. In the early hours of the morning on July 3rd, an off duty officer witnessed 2 males stealing items from vehicles that were parked in a private driveway of a home in the north end of St. Thomas.
The officer approached the males and identified himself as a police officer and placed one of the males into custody while the second male fled in a grey Mazda 3. As a result of the incident the police have obtained an arrest warrant for the male who is being identified as 30-year-old Cory Zazvorka. Zazvorka’s charges include dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with recognizance, trespass by night, theft, failure to comply with probation x 4 and escape lawful custody.
Zazvorka is said to have ties to both the Chatham and London area in addition to St. Thomas. If you have any information regarding his current whereabouts, you’re being asked to contact the St. Thomas Police.
