Two people suffered serious injuries following a personal watercraft explosion Saturday afternoon in Port Bruce.
Just before 1 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the incident in Catfish Creek near Levi Street.
The two individuals were thrown from the watercraft when it exploded and burst into flames shortly after leaving the dock.
The operator of the vessel, a 48-year-old from Cambridge was flown to a trauma centre by Air ORNGE and the passenger, a 32-year-old from Ruthven, near Leamington, was also hospitalized.
Elgin OPP are continuing with their investigation.
