A Flag Raising Ceremony will take place at St. Thomas City Hall Monday at 10 a.m. to mark National Drowning Prevention Week. The same will take place at the Elgin County Administration Building at 10 a.m. Tuesday. These and other events this week have been organized by the Elgin County Drowning Prevention Coalition. It’s Open Chess Night at the St. Thomas Public Library from 6:30 to 8! Open Chess Night is a drop-in evening of chess, open to players of all ages and skill levels.

And a heads up that Euchre Club at St. Thomas Anglican Church that was taking place every Tuesday is on pause for the spring/summer.
