“The Perils Of Persephone” is on stage at Port Stanley Festival Theatre through September 14th! Dan Needles takes us back to 1989 for a comedy about fossils, radioactive material, cows, toxic dumps, and – most importantly – damage control. Full details and tickets can be found here.

A free cancer screening pop-up clinic will once again be offered in St. Thomas on Friday. The clinics are hosted by the Thames Valley Family Health Team to address the needs of those without a family physician or nurse practitioner. More details can be found here.

Dancing with the Stars for the CASO Station goes Friday beginning at 7:30 p.m. This evening of entertainment is an annual fundraising event for CASO, modeled after the popular television show ‘Dancing With the Stars’, where the ‘Who’s Who’ of St. Thomas dazzle us with their skills on the dance floor. Be Tweens! takes place Saturday at the library from 2 to 3 p.m. Be Tweens is a chance for tweens to meet other tweens in the community, explore what the library has to offer, and participate in a fun activity. This week’s theme is Back Pack Charms!

LOCAL SPORTS:
St. Thomas Stars preseason action returns tonight (Friday) with a home game against the Strathroy Rockets. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. Full details can be found here!
On Saturday, the London Knights will return to St. Thomas for a preseason matchup against the Erie Otters. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. Those able to stick around after the game will also get to take part in an autograph session with the complete London Knights squad. Full details can be found here!
